Just tried to password my bios, and no luck. My BIOS is Award version 6.00PG. I went in there and passworded the supervisor, and user.

I saved my settings, and rebooted, much to my dismay, it went right into Windows.

My System....
Shuttle AK35-GTR
Windows XP Pro SP1
AMD Athlon XP 1700
GeForce 3
512 Nanya pc 2100 DDR
Enermax Whisper 431 watt power supply
Western Digital 40GB hard drive

Did you select when the BIOS should ask for the password ?
There are normally two options Setup and System.

No, I wasn't given the option, when I highlight set supervisor password or set user password, it prompts me to enter the password...that's it, no other options.

This options are in other config tabs, search for it on your bios.
In my bios is it where you can select the boot drives.
