Why does Asus have a x1950pro crossfire edition?

I thought the X1950Pro didn't need a master card...so why is there an Asus EAX1950Pro Crossfire card?

I'm confused once again.

u don´t need a master card

just reading in a german paper (PCGames 06/12)
