im gettin constant lock ups im using win 2000 pro sp2 and the compatibilty updates helped stabilze it a bit, i over clocked my cpu it was a 1533 amd xp 1800+ my fsb is 140 not i been reading about pci divders, im wondering i got the Kt333 its not the aru, i gota akura fan, its 468 one very powerfull, but im wonerintg bout safe vcore settings? thier setr to auto i know i should increaas the vcore since i increased the fsb, but i not sure how far safe is, any help would be great, i have a 350 wat enermax PSU, also im wondering about my ddr 333 setting it down to cas 2 would it make it faster? then cas 2.5 i have over clocked the sys but it hangs at anything above 140 fsb, iv seen the KT333 ARU go as high as 170 do i have to unlock my proccesser to do this? i have the Normal KT333 form Msi, and the latest via 4in1s and via pci latency fixes,

vcore settings

YES!!! Manually setting your Vcore, I/O, and RAM voltages will increase your stability! Assuming you have a temp montitor (Motherboard Monitor, or one that came with your mobo) I would say any Vcore that doesn't increase your CPU temp after 30-45 min of full load operation will be fine. You can use a program like SiSoft Sandra, Toast, or Prime95; these will stress your CPU to its max. On my XP1800+ currently at 11.5*140
I have the Vcore at 1.775(I need better cooling, as I live above 8000ft). Since you have DDR333, you can easily set all of the memory timings to their most aggressive (CAS 2; 2-5-2; 1T) and have no problems all the way up to 166mhz! You may have yo increase your DDR voltage to 2.65 or 2.75 tho. I am not familiar with the KT333 (I have a KT266a), so I am not sure what PCI dividers you have available. If you do not have a 1/5 divider (which I imagine you should) then you will probably also have to bump the I/O voltage up too if you manage to get your FSB up above 150. Unlocking your processor will allow you to select a lower multiplier (say, 10.5) and get to a higher FSB when your processor finally runs out of overclockability.
Hope I helped!

AAACK! I need to proofread better. I meant to say that any Vcore that doesn't increase you CPU temp. above 60 deg Celsius after 30-45 min of full load operation should be fine. AMD cpus run notoriously hot, hence to importance of mounting your HSF properly.
