I have a PC connected to a TV using an SVideo cable plugged into a scart. I usually turn the TV on, set it to AV, and then tell windows to extend desktop to TV so I can use WMP on it to watch movies/etc.

I have been to a friends house using his monitor for my PC. I didn't change drivers. I didn't change settings. I come back, plug everything in again.

Problem:

It doesn't work any more. The TV isn't detected. Setting extended desktop has no effect, even after applying. Forcing TV detection doesn't help. Everything is plugged in. The scart does work as I can hear sound on it when I play winamp (I have audio cables to hear PC sound on TV when I want). What has happened?

I even updated my Catalysts but that didn't do anything to help. :(
