no delay here... must be localised to your installation... check that HW acceleration didnt go avry (move it down one nudge, apply, then move it back up and apply again.)

The delay is cause by improper driver installation, uninstall and clean everything up and install the driver again.

Good luck

any benchmarks on these yet compared to the 4.4 cats? Any REALLY good reason to update from them to the newer ones, like better image quality and frame-rates? Now that Best Buy here has the 128mb 9800 Pro's for $199.00 after a $50.00 rebate (and I suspect even cheaper when the X800's show up very soon) ATI appears the only way to go with performance/quality and price considered.
BTW, if you don't need all of the different language control panels you can mod the setup.ini install file to only put in the language you want. change the count to 1, default and key 0 to the one you want and then delete the rest and save. When you run setup you only get the one you want and save about 10mb in unused file space...

dredlock, make sure you install the mobo driver after you install the display driver. This might not help anyway.

eh I just moved back to 4.4. I dont see a big reason to update...it sounds as if 4.5 is targted for the x800 anyway. Oh BTW i saw over at one of Sony's websites, a new computer they are comming out with...3.4 prescott..1gb ddr3200..250gb SATA HD .. x600 radeon PCI-E..and the case is amazing looking...lol there is a gap in the middle of the case...lol A HOLE! since it has a radiator on top...yes it will be water cooled... and this is going to be priced around 2,000....I dont have a link because its only for members...but a buddy of mine works for sony and i saw the pics :o
