laser or color ink ?
color or b/w ?

I got a HP Deskjet 3820 cause all the sources I searched for this printer was the only one recommended by all ... (user sources) and I must say I am very satisfied with it. It just works ... it gives very good quality even if ya reduce the ink usage via driver to lowest value the quality is good ... easy to install
good driver options
just a very good printer ...
AND very good support ... see

I just bought it man.I did a full photo printing test and i must say it's AWSOME.Very astonoshing picture quality. The bad points are:
didn't came with BLACK INK CARTIDGE, didn't came with USB CABLE.So i had to pay 50bucks more for the shit. That's not how it's going HP :(.
But printing speed is very good, very silence, 4800*1200dpi in photo mode is very very good quality

Good quality and fast is the key words i am looking for if i am going to buy a printer too (infact that is all i would really care).

I have the canon SP1000 which is very old but i'm comfortable with it because i use it mostly for printing black and white (school projects, game walkthrough, etc)

hmmm no ink ... thats bad
but saving the USB or parallel cable is now standard you won't find any ne printer with cable ...
I was disappointed just the same way ... damn such a cable costs nothing ... just need to ebay around or look for cheap ones in some stores ...
btw mine came up with ink ... but also no cable as I said ...
