Whats your first computer.

I know everyones had a commodore etc etc but the first computer you'd consider a real computer! 486 DX-4 100mhz. 2 gig HDD 2x cd-rom! Sound and 16 bit video! 32mb ram! Windows95 BLAZING FAST!.

since when is a commadore not a real computer?

i had a Amiga 500 with 1mb ram up untill i got a AMD k6-2 300

last upgrade on rig was
Pentium I MMX 233mhz
24 -> 32mb ram

I had a C24 then an Amiga 500 then an Amiga 2000 (great machines) then a Toshiba Satellite w/ Pentium100 (laptops dont really count, huh) then P3 800 on Asus cuw-am

Dragon 32 - OK not a real computer (neuuh), but the earliest example of overclocking I saw, you could POKE a number into a memory location to speed the processor up a bit.

First REAL computer (pffft!), 286/16 with 1Mb of RAM and hercules monochrome graphics, not exactly a games machine.

Amiga 500 was a great computer.
No HD though.

But such a phenomenal demo scene and hardcore fans.
