Yup guys here it is, now you are able to install the drivers on every NV card :wink:
1. Download the Detonator 44.61 drivers
2. extract them somewhere on your harddisk
3. delete the old NV4_Disp.INF
4. download this .INF file and copy it to your drivers folder (right click "save as" )
5. install them staring "setup.exe" in the drivers directory
6. reboot
I've tested it on GF2 card and it works

drdrake
is there any reason why the GeForceFX 5600 256mb isnt supported?
Thanks
Thanks

No luck here on a ti4600 on XP, it just breezes through the install without prompting to install the unsigned drivers, exactly as it did before the inf file. I was able to get the 44.10s working with some very simple inf editing, but doing the same thing (only adding the model support) to this inf file doesn't work.

The dude forgot some cards ;)

I used device manager to point to these drivers..
says install complete, but once I rebooted it just boots to a black screen. windows loads in the background but nothing displayed on the screen..

Hi,
I added the following lines in the nv4_disp.inf
[NVIDIA.Mfg]
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0301.1% = nv4, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0301
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0302.1% = nv4, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0302
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0308.1% = nv4_WSApps, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0308
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0309.1% = nv4_WSApps, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0309
%NVIDIA_NV31.DEV_0311.1% = nv4, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0311
%NVIDIA_NV31.DEV_0312.1% = nv4, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0312
%NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0321.1% = nv4, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0321
%NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0322.1% = nv4, PCIVEN_10DE&DEV_0322
; Localizable Strings
NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0301.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5800 Ultra"
NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0302.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5800"
NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0308.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 2000"

NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0321.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra"
NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0322.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200"
and installed the drivers for my GeForce FX 5600 via the device manager. After rebooting I don't have a black screen like some of you. I have the problem that my resolution is 640*480 4-Bit and I can't change it. I also don't have the nVIDIA control panel.
Maybe someone can help.
P.S.: I hope my English isn't too bad.
