I am building a new High Range PC with the follow items.

LIST OF ITEMS.

Mother Board
ASUS P5E3 Delux/WiFi-@N

INTEL CORE 2 EXTREME QUAD PROCESSOR QX9650

Corsair TWIN 3x4096-1600C7DHXIN 4GB (2x XMS3 2GB) PC-12800 (1600MHz) DDR3 RAM 2x240-pin DIMMS. Product Model: T3X4096-1600C7D

Graphics Card.
Asus GeForce 9800GX2 (EN9800GX2 TOP/2DI/1G.

Optical Devices 2 Off
PIONEER BDC-S02BK BLU-RAY PLAYER DVD COMBO DRIVE

Hard Discs. 2 off
400GB 3.5" SATA-II SEAGATE HARD DRIVE 16MB CACHE 7200RPM [ST3400620AS]

Operating System.
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit.

Monitor.
Samsung 30" 305T Wide TFT Monitor - Black, Max. Resolution 2560x1600, 6ms

I shall install the Windows Vista on one hard disk and want to instal Linux on the other one.

What I want to know is does Linux have 64bit? and can anyone see any problems with the above items. I know some of you will advise Windows XP but as that is going to be phased out I went for Vista.

Surely someone out there can help me?
Plenty of lookers at my question but not one answer.
Perhaps I am stupid and should know, but I am afraid I do not.
Come on someone please help.
