time to update ad-aware again !!!

just 2 days ago I was on a LAN Party ...
to scan for virusses in front of the other was necessary before getting connected to LAN ...
it was quite impressive since only me and 2 friends out of 8 people were virus free.
what I also noticed HIGHLY adware infected system .... and I mean HIGHLY ... 300 or more spyware files on PC .... 4 processes running and more ...
most was 180 solutions and coolwebsearch ...
if ya check http://www.warp2search.net/forums/viewto...1509#21509
you will notice that thos two thing has been update in last updates ... you really should consider updating and do a FULL scan !!! (the second option after hitting "scan")

check http://www.lavasoft.de if you do not own this app already ITS FREE !!! and its way better then any other spyware removing tool

and btw what we secondly noticed ... NAV 2004 sucks
since we had some highly infected systems there Kaspersky AV 4.5 really proved to be absolutely superior over NAV

that's why I use 5 different programs to scan for any form of spyware, malware, virus's etc. My record so far is over 2000 in a Dell workstation at a graphics design firm two months ago. They had been complaing that it was acting weird and running slow for something they paid over $6,000 for (LMAO, also Dell never bothered configuring the box in BIOS, hyperthreading wasn't even turned on and the customer didn't know what it was or the fact they had it).
I've found Jouni Vuorio's old RegCleaner 4.3 is a great tool for instantly checking to see if anything new has installed itself in a computer. It'll show up at the top of the software list on the front page and in the startup list as well at times. It's also good for removing "leftovers" from other things...
