Thought I might have a go at theming my windows xp (sp1), what program would anyone recommend, which would be the best?

the normal XP silver style was the best is the best and will never get annoying ... thats what I like on MS Big Grin

Silver with a black desktop looks great. The May 2003 issue of Maximum PC has a very good guide for setting up your XP o/s...

So no one recomends any theming programs like stylexp or litestep then?

style xp takes up memory and is trail (30days), ure best bet is doing a search on filemirrors.com for "uxthemesp1" which is a patch for the DLL file that controls themes. once the DLL file is replaced you can use custom themes. The file is different for Windows XP Pro and Windows XP Pro Sp1 so get the right one and read the installation instructions.
