Terratec DMX Xfire 24/96 and Windows 2000

I have several problems with this soundcard using Windows 2000, my mobo is a A7N266-C, and when i'm recording a cd, the sound get's really slow and choppy, I have an AMD XP 2000+ and 1.1 GB of Ram (DDR 266), so I must assume the problem are the terratec drivers (updated to the last one's).

I'm trying to fix this issue, but still nothing helped me, anyone has the same problem with soundcard ??

In Portuguese :
