I just downloaded the demo and WOW this game is awesome. I was always a fan of CS, firearms mod, soldier of fortune 2 and etc ...this game pushes boundries. 32 player multiplayer and 128 players on special servers. You can get up to 20+ vehicles planes helis and tanks, and about 30+ wepons to choose from. If you like taticle shooters then you will prob dig this game. I give it a high recomendation

Uhm, no, Soldner does not rule.

It suxx, it would have been one of the TOP games to come out of Europe including Far Cry, however, they managed to botch up the game bigtime by 1. releasing a 'BETA' online multi demo that was buggy as hell, 2. the final version isn't much better, 3. the control is fidgety and the damage modelling is really really bad! I had really high expectations for a Operation Flashpoint killer, but unfortunately it just went down the drain.

My recommendation, wait for something else. Hopefully we'll see some good Far Cry mods coming out in the next few months to make Far Cry a real competitor to Half Life 2 / Counterstrike. At the moment Far Cry is about the best single player game available, but the multi is still lacking. There is potential and without a doubt, European game developers are getting better and better than their American counterparts.

ps. Yeap - are you posting for people to buy the game and play online cause no-one else did and you're sitting all alone on a Soldner server somewhere in Europe?

i think the AI is the worst yet - especially when it comes to vehicles.

The AI drives like a drunken sob and doent use the mounted weapons - in only tries to run you over - even if that means getting stuck in trees or things like that.

just horrible.

ever played UT2k4 singleplayer ... there its just the same
on one assault map you got to shoot a door 3 times then drive in ...
it takes the team mates minutes to get this working ... when you do yourself its done in 30 sec ...
but the problem the only CPU team has no problem with that ... same on other asault mission ... CPU play together like real time ... but your CPU allys park the needed vehicle under a fence and fire at a building ... only way to get them off was by shooting at your allies ... verry annoying

Just wait, one day they will produce a add-on card for PC's that will have software switchable gate arrays so you can go and program the card to whatever your AI needs to do [e.g. pathfinding, yadda yadda]. Imagine, a dedicated AI add-on card for PC's. You'd make a killing!

Firts off the game demo is a BETA .... Spell it with me B .. E ..T .. A. Of course its gunna have bugs. All that I am saying is that this game has a lot of potential as far as online gaming goes. Why are people so quick to judge!!! And no I haven't bought the game because im in North America and it hasn't been released.

We already have the game in Europe and it suxx So don't waste ur time
