Saving Favorites in Win 2000

I'm going to do a clean install of win2k but I don't want to loose all my favorites in internet explorer,How can I save them?,And where can I find the folder?

Favorites...

Just go to your drive and look for Documents and Settings\username - replace username with whatever yours is.

You will see a Favorites folder here you can check within it to make sure that you have the right one and just copy this to another drive or save this folder to disk.

Another way you can do this is Export them from IE into a single file which then can be imported - just go to File - Import and Export and just follow the Wizard...

These are the two ways that I know of doing it... Good Luck.

or if you want it even more easy just open ya favs and rightclick one folder within hitting "open".. now u are just there

if you wanna be real smart, you can set up a website for your favourite links

So you can go to a mates place use his internet connection, bring up the URL for the website u made and BAM theres all ur links.

Its pretty simple because IE exports the file as "htm" anyways, so just dump it on ur site and away you go
