Sandra 2003 Bench

Hello there,
When I compare my results of the Sandra CPU/Memory Benchmark with the stored results from Sandra for my Processor (Palomino 2000+) I have to assume that my machine is a real underperformer. The only thing that makes me wonder is that the stored results of previous Sandra versions were almost exactly the same like my own ones. Did somebody else notice this?

SiSoft benchmarks are unreliable. I've had this problem also. Other people I have talked to even say SiSoft Sandra isn't reliable. Even when I used the hard drive benchmarks it showed that my performance was poor compared to other hard drives like mine. I don't use SiSoft Snadra anymore. I even had to overclock my CPU 200MHz to even have similar results to other cpu's like mine. :-?

I wouldn't take much notice of sandra, my 1st duron (a 700mhz) always benched way below what it said it should be, and yet every other game and benchmark had it up there above the default 700 comparison.

if you compare sandra 2000+ example results with those of your system at 200*9 and oc'd 400 MHz memory, you smoke the scores. How astonishing.
