Refresh rate issue solved forever!!

Fed up of getting 60Hz or 75Hz in your favourite OpenGL/Direct3D/DirectX games (e.g. Quake 1/2/3, Half-Life, Unreal, or Deus Ex) instead of the 120Hz your display adapter & monitor are capable of? Yes? Then download this FREE program, and enjoy higher display frequencies without the hassle of installing special drivers!

Big Grin

this awesome FREE tool is 'RefreshLock' !! Here is the homepage :

Is there a way to make the settings 'stick' so that RefreshLock doesn't have to start each time I run my games?

'Fraid not, since there's no standard registry entry for refresh rates like there was in Win95/98/Me, and anyhow, registry tweaking's exactly what this program's designed to avoid, even though I am technically knowledgable in that area. I will be truthful though; there may be ways of removing refresh rates you don't want for your particular graphics card.

I know it's a pain to have it running. But, I'm afraid that's the way it works. The CPU usage is negligable when it's running though, and it doesn't consume that much physical memory.

Thanx for your Q.
