Ravenshield demo problems

I'm experiencing a lot of problems with the new Ravenshield demo. I had it crash to the destop giving me a critical error one time and had it load to a black screen another.

This is with:
GF4 Ti4600 w/ 40.72 detonators
athlon xp 1600+
384mb pc2100
windows xp pro sp1
directx 8.2

the problems seemed to have disappeared now. Although, earlier I couldn't ping any of the servers on my cable connection. Kinda weird. My connection didn't die but no servers showed even after I refreshed and updated it.

Oh, and BTW, this game rocks. I can't wait for the full version.
