question about geforce 4's

I just installed a different gf4 in a computer and whenit boots up it says something like:
Geforce 4 4600
Bios Version xxxx
128mb DDR

When I reboot my comp doesnt display anything about the card.. just straight to the bios.

I was just wondering if PNY disabled this feature or something.. ?

I know it's know an answer really but, does it matter? Smile
Besides, probably saves a second or 2 when booting up.

I believe it is because when you reboot you're doing a soft boot (instead of a hard boot)

Search on google.com for the - NVIDIA BIOS Editor. That will probably allow you to enable it. Still wouldn't bother though

Yeah I don't really get it...I mean, you wanna show off, just play that game at that LAN party on 1600x1200, 32 bits, with FSAA...That'll show em...Who cares about whether it shows up when you boot or not?...

Open up a benchmark program...Go in your video card options...There's better ways of "showing off"...
