3DM2K10000 / STUPID LOL-WRITERS

1.st: 3DMark IS NOT the real or the whole world!
2.nd: change to the newest Chipset / Dentonator 40.xx Drivers, install
ATuner form http://www.3dCenter.de to be shure if no AA and no TexFilters are on / update the BIOS to the newest one /look for OC-Opt.s in your
BIOS like DRAM Timing (2-2-x instead 3-3-x or so), USWC instead UC,
Tune up the FSB far it possible, and, if possible, slightly turn up the VCore
to earn stability, look for FIX PCI or fix 33/66 MHZ opt.s in your Bios, use
Rivatuner RC12 for best GK low level Tuning, turn on HALT ON NO ERRORS in BIOS if possible, IGNORE of the TEMP watching in the BIOS,
buy a BETTER CPU Cooler like the original stock cooler (Alpha or Cooler
Master Heatpipe), buy Arctic Silver 3 and apply a thin film on the (alcohol cleared Heat Spreader/Cooler Base) CPU and buy 1-2 80mm Fans for blowIN/Out the Heat, buy VERY GOOD RAM like CORSAIR PC 3200 if havn`t it yet (eg. noname...),
have a good power supply with much power for good OCing also.
THE 1.6 GHZ P4 NORTHWOOD IS THE BEST FOR OC !!! USE THE FORCE
LUKE :-)
...But I give you, be shure, no warranty... but my 2.0 GHz p4 run superrockstable @ 2,643 and i have 13468 Points...
- use CodeCreatures Benchmark pro instead 3DM to test the stabilyty,
because if this one runs stable, the Games are also...

AND DON`T HEAR ABOUT THE STUPID PEOPLE THEY ONLY WRITE "LOL"!!!

best regards and post your results please
Marcus

Oh sorry! I`m blind! I didn`t see that you have RDRam... - thats bad for OC, but if you have a good Board with an I850 Chipset you can use PC1066 - than you CAN OC your CPU very well as I have tell you...

@ "LOL"... - no way to talk with you - you will only repeat it with:
..."LOL" - i know people like you - its too boring to recordnize you, poor
boy...

your score is very low! i have an xp2000+@2100+ (1748 mhz) fsb 152 both for cpu and ram (256mb corsair pc2400), epox8kha+ and R8500 retail @ 290/290. My 3dmark 2001SE score is about 9600/9700. You have a ti4600 and i thik your result should be at least 11k (i think)... check your system for optimal setting in the bios/windows....

for the other: detonator 40.XX gives a boost in 3dmark that isn't noticable in the real games (only very few games are better winth new detonator), i think in 3dmark for a better compare with system powered by ATI you should use detonator 30.XX......

I would think you also could use a little more RAM, say another 256MBs or so. I don't know, i'm not a Doctor, lol. But what I do know is 256MBs total RAM is like the minimum when using WinXP. What'cha think.
