RE: quadro 2500M

it should be possible, but won´t give u more than 1% extra performance
i tried that years ago with my geforce 4 and you could convert them into quattros, too...but there was no performance gain

Intel Q6600 @3,6Ghz@FSB400 - Watercooled
8800GTX - Watercooled
Gigabyte X38 DQ6 - Watercooled
2x2GB OCZ Platinum 800 @1066Mhz@5-5-5-15
2x320GB Seagate RAID0 @ TX2300 - Watercooled

RE: quadro 2500M

i have ordred the precision m90 with the quadro fx2500

have read some fairly rave reviews saying that its comparable to the go 7900gtx as it is pretty much the same card...

im not so familiar with laptop gfx, but the last laptop i brought had a mobility 9700 and the performance was nowhere near a desktop 9700 non pro even...

so, what kind of desktop board can the fx2500/go7900gtx be compared to??

i know it cant do dx10 but really only the 8800s can do that and even then the performance loss isnt worth it in my opinion
