Dooby stop trying too fight.......I have absolutely no involvement in the your Color misgivings.

I simple saw a great opportunity too post some real screen shots. So maybe by chance a console gamer will see what they might get. If it lives up too the hipe. My 6800u runs that at about 28 FPS Avg. (Fraped) In essence the Cell, PS3, Xbox2 should out doo this. That would ensure some great hardware longevity.

Good for you Smile
A bit off topic tho!

More like a guided direction of digression.

So does anyone have any Price estimates? Manly how much each company is gonna eat per console the first year? And how much they will sell for? Are we looking at a Bundle Hell scenario? How much will the service cost? Full games downloadable on Demand? Will online game rental companies sign up with in Demand Gaming content? Whats stopping the Console from becoming a HTPC?

Personally i would buy a couple new consoles if they gave me HTPC capabilities.

Around £400 seems to be the price point new consoles favour.
As currency devalues over time and hardware demands increase, this could easily rise. If significant value can be added to the console by allowing it to interoperate with your life more, this alone can increase price.
Then again with new hardware development, more can be done for cheaper.

Its very hard to say, especially if the manufacturer decides to break even on the console in preference of market share and making the profit on games.

I expect games to eventually become download only. At the moment there is a lot of perceived value in having a solid disk in your hand.

Lol, my XBox is a HTPC.
