Now warp2search.net looks like one of these "Made for Ads(ense)" Websites. The content-layout looks very unclear. Too much infos that don't hit the point. I wish the days could come back where "Newsfactory" posted just 5 to 10 news per day that where really interesting. As far as I can remember he gave the readers always an appropriate newspicture with the newstext. That's another thing that I miss.

"Launched two years ago, TrackMania Nations became a true video game phenomenon. The free downloadable racing game attracted an unbelievable number of players around the world who were obsessed with the game's fast cars, spectacular tracks single- and multiplayer play and simple yet powerful tools for creating tracks and race videos. Its highly awaited sequel, TrackMania Nations Forever, is now available as a free download. TrackMania Nations Forever offers a new complete "Forever" version of the Stadium environment, a complete solo mode and 65 brand new, progressively difficult tracks. The Ping Pong demo illustrates some of the new graphical techniques made possible by the new features of Microsoft DirectX® 10.1 and the ATI Radeon HD 3000 Series of graphics processors. First shown on the AMD "Codename: Spider" platform, the demo shows off a new lighting technique known as real-time global illumination, together with a scalable physics simulation optimized for multi-core systems. It's also interactive - move around the room and see how many ping pong balls you can maneuver into the goals!

The Download weights about 1.3 GBytes and was formerly released for OEM-Manufacturers - so use it of your own risk.
Link removed. As long as it is not official from Microsoft, please do not post any links to any kind of possible SP. (You will also find a complete changelog there.)
I don't like it much because the teaser/intro of every news is too short and relevant pictures are missing. So it's hard to get the topic of these news in just a few seconds (compared to the old w2s style ~2002-2006). At that time all the news were handpicked (by newsfactory and some other fine guys) and high-class. Now warp2search looks like a RSS-junkyard for more or less useless updatenews about small shareware applications and reviews about mainstream hardware. I really miss the old newsstyle...for example breaking news about the hottest Gaming-Hardware or newest 3D-Benchmarks, Betas and more.
Sorry about these hard words but I do like warp2search and want to give input so w2s can be (re-)improved.
Fortress Forever, the Half-Life 2 multiplayer mod that recreates the experience of Team Fortress Classic in the Source engine. Yesterday a brand new version was released.
- Re-added recoil for some weapons (e.g. IC)
- Suiciding no longer causes you to lose 100 fortress points
- Grenades now have trails and halo's around them
- New EMP effect
- Medkit fix. Should be much easier to heal people with medkit and spanner now, as friendlies are lag predicted now
- Death by burning is no longer a suicide
- Scouts now don't take fall damage
- Blue pipe fuse timer dramatically decreased (from 2.5 to 1.1 seconds). Pipetrap explosion radius increased from 125 to 150
- Spy now has a 'last disguise' option on the menu
- New options screen with a load more stuff on it
The singleplayer demo represents just a small taste of the Hellgate: London experience. Gamers can choose from two of the game's six character classes: the Blademaster, a master of swordplay and action-packed melee combat, or the Marksman, a cool, calculating, long-range specialist.
In the demo, these heroes are able to battle through a small handful of storyline and side quests as they adventure through the streets and tunnels around London's Holborn Station.
