I am having problems with easy cd creator platinum. I installed it and it didn't work. it said my cd rom wasn't supported then i installed the update and it worked up until i go to burn a cd. it has my cd-rom listed and shit and asks what speed to write at and stuff but when i press "ok" it just shuts down and i get the old send error report shit. i am running windows XP home

OK whenever u post for help on software and hardware problems on BB, always post ur system config.

And have u heard of Ahead's Nero Burning ROM. Give it a TRY u wont be dissapointed.

Anyway just check if ur HDD and CD-RW(not cd rom) are on same cable. If they are try getting them on different cables.

Go to http://www.roxio.com and get ALL the software updates. Remember do not install direct CD. It is not usefull and will fuck windows Xp up.

I have LG's cd-rw. I installed latest easy cd creator version on my pc. It didn't work. Here is the reason: There are special edition drivers to my LG which came in retail package. That version is the ONLY version which makes possible to burn my own files to CD.

EZCD Creator is bloatware. Do Nero.
