Problem with Game Centering

I installed the new 30.82 driver and I had a problem with the screen center shifting to the left 2 inches during gameplay under DirectX. This caused me to lose two inches of the screen on the left side, making gameplay very annoying. I have a new Dell Dimension 8200 powering a Quadro 4 900XGL running Windows XP Pro. I reinstalled the 29.80 series and the problem went away. Gained 300 points in 3DMark 2001 with the 30.82, but SpecViewPerf results were the same as the 29.80. I am able to obtain over 106 fps in ProCDRS. Anyone know why the screen shift would occur?

Monitors have different presets for resolution and refresh rate...just adjust it, and it should be fine frm then on. MAYBE ;p

You need to install a refresh rate fix program such as Refreshlock. When you go into games, windows uses a refresh rate of 60hz, which may not be what your monitor is set to for your desktop size, hence the discrepancy in placement of the screen image during games.
