Prescott Processors

Hi just bought an Intel Prescott 2.8, and it does run hotter...now on idle i run at 122 F when with my Northwood 2.4 I used to run at 90F. But man does it perform for me, and since it is built on the .09nn process I can overclock it to 3.2 without making the heat increase at all! So thats nice Big Grin

I would have gotten an AMD FX but i just bought this motherboard and ram, and i needed a processor upgrade...so I just went ahead with this for now but down the road i plan on going AMD...I dont like to bad mouth one another cause it's like a see-saw...AMD is better now but Intel might have somthin better down the road...all I know is that my system does what i want it to do, and thats all I need.(until I have money to burn)
