Patched .INF file for 44.61 Detonator

Yup guys here it is, now you are able to install the drivers on every NV card :wink:

1. Download the Detonator 44.61 drivers
2. extract them somewhere on your harddisk
3. delete the old NV4_Disp.INF
4. download this .INF file and copy it to your drivers folder (right click "save as" )
5. install them staring "setup.exe" in the drivers directory
6. reboot

I've tested it on GF2 card and it works

No luck here on a ti4600 on XP, it just breezes through the install without prompting to install the unsigned drivers, exactly as it did before the inf file. I was able to get the 44.10s working with some very simple inf editing, but doing the same thing (only adding the model support) to this inf file doesn't work.

I used device manager to point to these drivers..

says install complete, but once I rebooted it just boots to a black screen. windows loads in the background but nothing displayed on the screen..

Hi,

I added the following lines in the nv4_disp.inf

[NVIDIA.Mfg]
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0301.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0301
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0302.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0302
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0308.1% = nv4_WSApps, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0308
%NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0309.1% = nv4_WSApps, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0309
%NVIDIA_NV31.DEV_0311.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0311
%NVIDIA_NV31.DEV_0312.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0312
%NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0321.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0321
%NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0322.1% = nv4, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0322

; Localizable Strings
NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0301.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5800 Ultra"
NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0302.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5800"
NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0308.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 2000"
NVIDIA_NV30.DEV_0309.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 1000"
NVIDIA_NV31.DEV_0311.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600 Ultra"
NVIDIA_NV31.DEV_0312.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5600"
NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0321.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra"
NVIDIA_NV34.DEV_0322.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200"

and installed the drivers for my GeForce FX 5600 via the device manager. After rebooting I don't have a black screen like some of you. I have the problem that my resolution is 640*480 4-Bit and I can't change it. I also don't have the nVIDIA control panel.

Maybe someone can help.

P.S.: I hope my English isn't too bad.
