Overclocking Q

I've just began to o/c my system. Can anyone point out multipliers I should try first and/or other CMOS settings to keep in mind? And I do know that I have to pencil my CPU to unlock it!

CPU - AMD Athlon T-bird 1100 Mhz
RAM - 640 MB PC-133 SDRAM
OS - Windows XP Professional
GPU - PNY 64 MB GeForce 3 (o/c: 240c/500m)
MBD - Abit KT7
3DMark2001 SE - 5088

I assume your tbird runs at 100mhz fsb. I would start at 9.5x133 and work your way up towards 10.5x133. This way the ram is running full spec (aggressive settings should be ok) and the PCI and AGP buses are not being overclocked. You might need to up your CPU voltage a bit (0.1v) - you can do this with a pencil ala unlocking or maybe in your bios.

Toast stresses the cpu more than any other program i have tried. if your system doesnt blue screen after about 10-20 minutes of toast you should be alright.

I dont see why it wouldnt run at 10x133 (1333) with a decent cooler. Even 1400 (10.5x133) isnt completely out of the question. Once you have the highest multiplier you can run at stable, try bumping up the fsb bit by bit (the ram may not allow it over 136) until it blue screens in toast and then drop it back a mhz or two. Hope this helps
