OFFICE XP WILL NOT UPDATE SP1

I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING EXPECTED VERSION NOT FOUND WHEN I TRY AND UPDATE OFFICE XP WITH SP1. ANY IDEAS????

Here's a link to the proper fix that bypasses thier stupid emailing list membership requirement. It's a pain in the ** to unsubscribe from so don't bother. Smile

THIS DOES NOT WORK. I CAN DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE, BUT IT WILL NOT APPLY BECAUSE THE VERSION OF OFFICE XP IS A PRERELEASED
VERSION OFF THE NET. ANY OTHER IDEAS
