OCSystem Memory

I'm building a budget nforce2 system for a friend and was wondering what, if any, experience fellow Warpers have had with OC System PC2700 C2 DDR memory modules. I always use Corsair for high-end boxes but saw the OC stuff for less than half the price of Corsair. Any bad/good experiences with this stuff???

yo man
I had a forum post about this about 1 year ago, only i was talking
about 3200 modules. Anyway, i contacted them through email and
noone ever replied. After about 5 calls i got some answers. Anyway, it's
cheap memory, dont buy it. In some instances they have overclocked
2700 memory and say it is 3200 memory. DONT BUY FROM THEM.
Go with OCZ, they are cheaper than corsair, yet perform GREAT.
I myself have OCZ 3200 rev 2 ddr 400 512mb. It works like a charm,
overclocking is great too.

It cost me $100.

Try excaliberpc.com it's a good shop

Hope that helped

In my case it was OC Systems PC3000 DDR. I bought the ram and it NEVER met spec (advertised spec that is). I dumped it into a P4 system and sold it as is. It's crap ram and like everything else in life, you get what you pay for.

Later.

Thanks for the input. I already ordered two sticks of the Crucial PC3200. I've never used their DDR but their PC133 is the best on the market for the money. Warp2Search IS the best site going...
