nvidia 43.45 driver issue

ok i'm pretty sure it's the drivers causing this problem...
after installing the drivers, i rebooted and now every time i restart or cold boot, my monitor completely shuts off for about 5 seconds right after the XP splash screen. it's never done that before until i installed the drivers. and xp also seems to take longer to start because of this...anyone having this problem also?

yeah....the 43.45's suck....might as well roll back to the last whql driver (41.09)....they're really the only ones worth installing unless all you care about is a 3dmark score

I'd have to side with WF_Chaos. These are the best drivers for me too. The OpenGL related corruption in Q3 engined games (only the 42.01's worked prior to these) has been fixed and games on the whole perform better.

I love them! Smile

the nvidia driver team really needs to start doing a better job and start releasing more whql driver like ati. Ati has really stepped up there drivers and in my opinion surpassed nvidia in that also. I spoke with the head guy on catalyst at Lanwar 18 and i found out that every driver update they release is 6 weeks apart on a monday and they are all whql certified.

Is there a more hardcore lanpartier than me??

I think not. Check my World Record.
