Iknow the 1*.** series drivers are DirectX7 optimised as are the Geforce 2 range of graphics cards. Does this mean that by using these drivers and installing DirectX7 on say Win98SE that performance will be superior to DirectX8.1? If not then why the need for these DirectX7 drivers?
