Novell releases Mono 1.0 Beta 1

Novell has released an open source platform for the Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 that includes a .NET compliant C# compiler and a suite of class libraries. The Mono 1.0 Beta 1 will allow developers to create clients, Web services and server based applications that can be deployed across Linux, Novell NetWare, Mac and Windows. The Mono 1.0 Beta 1 can be downloaded free from the Mono Web site.
