just found that on edonkey2000.com

Quote:
Virus Hoax
There is no virus or backdoor in Overnet or eDonkey2000. Norton antivirus is incorrectly detecting this. No other virus software is having problems with our exe.
We have updated our exe so it no longer sets off Norton

OT:
No thanx I do not need realtimescanning ... I am fine with manual scans fromtime to time ...
btw 45€ is a fair price but for this one you can get the personal version of KAV, too
or even the light one for only 20€

EDIT:

die free edition hat also wirklich keinerlei nachteile bis auf den realtimescanner und firewall
find ich echt prima genau wie bei adaware

[OT]
I have already found my favorite one .. so at least for me no need to jump through all apps .. btw the chance to get a virus is very low when you are carefull this is just to make things clear and verify download with unknow source

McAfee Deleting Your Copy of GetRight???
March 24. We all got our daily McAfee virus scanner updates today, and suddenly McAfee thinks a number of the recent versions of GetRight (5.01 and 5.02) are infected with a virus: W32/Gaobot.worm.tm. GetRight is NOT infected, it is a false message from McAfee...but McAfee also then deletes your GetRight.exe file to "clean" this "infection"!
Fortunately, the new GetRight 5.1 version isn't flagged and works fine. So if you're seeing this, please upgrade to GetRight 5.1! And complaining to McAfee might get their incorrect virus info fixed sooner too!
(found at MP of Getright.com)

so not only Norton is sometímes wrong
McAfee also *smile*
