Noisy Case!

Hey, I have an year old computer that works well but recently, the case started to make a loud noise and I still couldn't figure out why its making such a big noise. My friend just had a problem and he fixed it by changing the HARDDRIVE and I was coufused about changing the HDD to stop the noise. I was wondering that, it is since the case is closed and it might be too warm OR my Fan's dead. I was also thinking about buying a COOLER so that it might reduce the warmth inside the case, which might stop the fan from making such a big noise. Please reply..................

hmmm you might check what is causing the noise ...
which means opening the case ... starting the PC touching a ground connection and then use a finger to stop fan by fan for some seconds to find out which fan does make that noise ... it may be the motherboard fan or any other 40mm fan which are know to be loud after about 6month
and the thing with the HDD ... the problem here is the resonant frequency of your case ... try to run the PC without the HDD inside and compare the noise

Hey, I opened the case and it was like fully dusty and I still didn't check which fan's making the noise. Lateron, I would be taking to a computer store or call a computer technition to try and fix this problem. Tks anyway for the help and ideas.
