Del Piero dived - lies - if a player is impeded then a free kick should be given, they are the rules of the game if you ever managed to study them.
Del Piero made sure you didn`t get away with it. The way the player leaned on him affected his balance - especially when travelling at speed - if he kept his hands away from him he wouldn`t have touched him, its his own fault; no discipline.


sheerers goal was good - wrong again -

The player who WAS offside duirng the so-called goal took a step away from goal then changed his mind and ran TOWARDS the goal when it was passed to sheerer means even more conclusively that he was participating in the play - facts every person commenting on the match outside of england knows; and inside of england seem to forget SURPRISE,SURPRISE!

Maybe in needs to be made clearer but the fact is he was offside. therefore the goal was VOID.

Again, no discipline.


the referee said that he had made a mistake - wrong!

If someone says something is HARSH (according to the papers) it dosen`t mean that hes saying its WRONG, does it??


..also neglected to be mentioned is that if you didn`t manage to half KILL one of our players (and he was NOT booked by the way) - and no mention has been made of any regret/asking after how the player was from the newcastle side - then a HALF-FIT Trezeguet wouldn`t have missed the FIVE or six chances we had in the first half alone.

Its standard practice to blame someone else when you are not good enough - usually referees and usually against foreign clubs; funny with the amount of forwign players in the `english`(?) that would change..

newcastle have been outplayed in europe and the `premier` (?) and are second best - accept it and move on.

On a personal note it is sad to see these comments as I actually had a lot of respect for Shearer and though he was a good player and told things as they were but that has changed, that is my own personal opinion.
