Newbie: 3DMark

I just Built my PC:

AMD Athlon™ XP 2600+
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X
512MB RAM
Windows XP

i have all the latest drivers and i was wondering what 3DMark is?
I've seen alot of sites talk about it but they never xplain what it is.

3Dmark is a program which runs different tests on your PC, sees how fast you run them, and then displays the results and a final "score". The faster your PC the bigger the score.

3DMark is more of a video benchmark, though. If you want a more thorough benchmark of your entire system, try using PCMark.

Good to see the WS2 download section back online.. did i miss the news of this or is it recent?
