New 4in1 won't even run setup program on XP

Is it just me or doesn't even the installation program want to start. I get an errormessage saying that it can't find all the required files. I've tried downloading it twice, but only from the http address, as the ftp won't work.
Anyone else with similar experinces?

Had no problem here with my computers, installed great, maybe don't like your computer Big Grin Try to disable firewall and antivirus programs if any? So I was told. Or try from a different location. Later

My problem was it couldn't run the 16-bit windows program. To fix this open regedit and goto

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem]

set NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation equal to 1 in deciaml format. If the key isn't there create a new dword with the same name and set the value to 1 in deciaml format.

Make sure the folder is less than 8 characters

Vyrticl - I think you mean it should be 0 in the registry, shouldn't it? Anyways it was set to 1 and I set it to 0 and rebooted but it didn't help.
What did help was to rename the unpacked folder so that it's less than 8 characters. Then it worked like a charm.
