Today I got an submission that there is a Nvidia Detonat 42.30 dated 01/13/2002 available at ftp://ftp.nvidia.pl/pub/Drivery/42.30/. The file is an exe package and differs in name from the driver which is available at asus.

I can not verify the file if it s old or new or allready available cause i own a Radeon card.
(I heared that radeon cards does not work with nv drivers ;-)

If anybody want to check it feel free to do and please leave a comment what s up with this file.

should be able to right click..and extract the contents to a folder..and then research from there....checking the version on the .dlls files and such....but ive heard rumors..that it contains some old files...and doesnt support directx 9.....

yep....i just extracted this .exe file...and this is what the Read Me Text file said

NVIDIA Display Driver for Windows 2000/XP version 41.50, 11/05/2002

i installed the drivers and the nvidia control panel say there all 42.30 versioned files..

the readme does say 41.50 tho

42.30 is inly DDI 8 compatibile driver, while 42.01 is DDI 9 compatibile driver. That is what my directx diagram says. That is all for now

these seem really poor on my comp..

CS at 55 fps.. on a albatron ti4200p turbo

back to 42.01 for me
