hey all over at the madonion sight word is "neverwinter nights" will have to play on the dvd drive............? i find this hard to believe and a pity if its true because some do not have dvds in their pc. i guess im glad now that i ordered mine with one. laterrrrrrr

BioWare have always had trouble with thier multi-cd games... check the support section for BG1 or 2 and there's entire sections dedicated to fixing problems with cd changing and installing. I don't know what size NWN will be but if it's any bigger than BG2 (e.g. 5cd's+) then I think DVD is really the only way they can avoid the mess of having to swap cd's every few screens.

Besides they could probably pick up a nice "donation" from the DVD Drive companies for doing this, releasing a major game on DVD only would be a good way to make more people adopt new technology... CD's have been out way too long, it's time they were sent to the bin. Smile

Even here in Australia I can pick up a nice Sony or Pioneer 16 x DVD for less than AU$100 and prices drop every day.
