Hey guys
I'm completely new to site making, HTML, and
any other code or stuff. I'm good in hardware
and in software i'm fine, but i never made
a site, and i had planned to make one years
ago with guitar videos of me in actions etc..
But what is a good program to make one with
and where can i learn it, and a domain?
I heard tk is good.
But one thing, i don't want a geocities page.
I find them cheap you know, not a site in my opinion.

dreamweaver is a good one to learn off of... it gives you a kind of layout view and an html view, so i guess to start id say use the layout view, then as you go check out the html to see what is going on.

and use tables.

dont expect to make something super fancy on your first try, it will take making a few to learn neat tricks and things.

Whilst I agree that Dreamweaver is a good editor it is not for beginners.

I would suggest if your just starting that you try Frontpage as this is very easy to learn and comes with many templates that you can adapt to suit.

Once you have the hang of creating a web site you can then progress to Dreamweaver which is much more powerful.

I would also suggest that you get a grounding in learning how to write HTML code, you will find this very helpful as editors don't always get it right.
