Please read all my posts in here

I think you have completly lost what I have been trying to say.

I got no Activation screen until I messed with the OOBETimer and modified one binary in order to get the Registration or whatever you call it screen again to change the CD key to somethign else.

Well none of the CORP keys will work with that KEYEGN once you apply the XPFIX and enter a CDkey then reboot. It works fine then but when I try to change the OOBETImer to change it to some other CDKEY none of the CD keys generated by the Keygen will work.

However, any CD key I generate for XP Pro not corporate will work.

SO what does this tell you. SP1 beta has done soemthing to Devilsown copy of XP Corp edition.

Although once I change the CD key That is when I get the activation. Until I reboot and then I am back to normal.

Its just a series Of steps I have been experimneting aroun dwith to see what woudl happen.

In the end nothign happens cause once you reboot you CD key you entered after the XPfix comes right back. No matter what. That is another thing that is confusing me.!!!

HOpe this helps in explaining what I am trying to do and what happened.

i see said the blind man to the deaf man...

Ok i think i undetand now, sorry for the mis interpretation. hmm, it worked for me i the 1st key i generated woeked for me, (thats before i found out that key wouldnt be worth anything to me) and i used the corp selection when generating....when i changed my key i did it manually through the reg, didnt use the xpfix (zip file)..but that should have nothing to do with it....i'l be honest i dont know why its not accepting the corp key...only thing i can tell you is try more key or look around for exsisting key...some forums have them posted...not this one though

Now there is a new build (1060) one must wonder with SP1 being released later this month (ahead of scheduale) if this is in fact the final, leaked....and most likely with bug fixes, and more security? hmmm....

The keygen works with xp corp and if microsoft especially clamps down on corp ed. then it is easily changed to a retail version.

Big Grin

I have 1068 installed - but it does say "for testing". I assume no timebomb. With the old corp key it wouldnt even install 1068.

Just wantked to add that you have to select which version of xp you want in xpkeygen (I didnt know).

When you change the setupp.ini file you only need to change what knid of key the cd accepts not which version it thinks it is and also how can XPcorp ask for activation when it is not included on cd?

Just tried XPcorpPRO with the key switched to accept retail keys. It gave the graphic of expecting a retail key but only accepted a corp key (generated by keygen). If ne1 want the keygen ;D. It should be perfectly ok beause I downloaded it from warp2search.net!

win xp sp1 with bootleg veirsion

i was thinking that even if you change your key like the fck one thats around what it doesnt do is change the serial it makes when you install xp.thats what you have to change and thats what mr gates is going to look for when you try to install sp1 on a bootleg version.

Weird stuff

Hello,

A few days ago, i did some updates to my corp winxp through the site windosupdate (i'm using a keygen key), i had never installed SP1 beta on it, anyway after i rebooted i saw on my desktop the usual crap: "for testing purpose bla bla" , on the corp winxp weird eh? Dunno where did it came from, but i can't get rid of it.

Any hints would be appreciated Smile

I got the testing purpose thing after installing leak Windows Media Player 9.

Take the time and READ my post correctly, i stated that it (generated keys) works on the BETA which is out now...i was referring to the Final release of sp1...never hurts to read.

who claim that sp1 1106 is beta?
i don't find any beta word here
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/d...efault.asp

Why not say it is an Alpha version. Don't that sound better?
or maybe claim this windows xp an alpha release of windows 1.0.
