I have successfully gotten WMP8 to run on Windows ME, however I will not be releasing details due to the fact that WMP8 relies heavly on controls that only Windows 2000 and XP support and is very unstable. The effort of getting it to work far outweighs what you get for it. WMP8 just has a fancy "fade-away" menu (which won't work on Windows ME anyways due to its lack of Alpha Transparency support built into the GDI) when playing full screen movies and the ability to burn music to CD. No improved video or audio quality. So big whoop. =)
