I have a big dilemma.
Which of those 2 Download accelerators are better?

Internet Download Accelerator v3.0 OR Internet Download Manager v4.0

It looks like they are clone. IDA (internet download accelerator) looks better than IDM (internet download manager).
Maybe some of you can help me and tell which of them perform better.

Cause it did slow my connection a lot, and had a lot of compatibilty issues with windows millenium and windows XP.Maybe it's good but for me it wasn't, that's why i consider the other two

I love Flashget

i've never used any of the ones people are talking about but I did use a few others before, the one I use now is called ReGet Deluxe http://deluxe.reget.com/en/ and I found it so good I even payed for it and I love it to bits.

I've also managed to get all my mates and family to use it was well and they think it's great as well, mainly because it really does work.

They do other versions as well, Pro and Junior, but with less features.

You can download a trial to see if you like it and I'd recommand anyone that reads this to do just that.

so....i also tried many DM
long time i used GetRight but then there was a failure that no download could finish....all downloads stopped on 99%
(btw: the same prob i have with SP2-RC1)

but with FlashGet.....
no probs...all downloads finish as fast as they can :-)

and one thing i love is that u can, if u use IE, download a File with right Click via FlashGet, or u can "Download all" with FlashGet, if u have a site with many Regs or tweaks or something

it´s just an experience of me....FlashGet is the best DM i´v ever used
but i can say, i don´t use those DM often, it´s very seltom
only if a download is very slow with IE/FF, then i use a DM

not to forget the flashget batch download
and which feature I love more and more the
"site explorer" ... enter a site FTP or not and it will give ya all files to get

you mean to tell me...even with my cable connection..your tellin me i can go faster?!?!?! how? :hail:

because if a download from a location is slow
DM connect up to 5 times and more to the same or some mirrors

and if u download without a DM with 5k and a DM connects 5 times then it´s NORMALY 5x5= 25K
or if the DM finds faster mirrors then it could go faster up to max of ur Internet Connection

whooo 5kB is fast remember all those chinese or japanese servers with 1kB or even less
