ICEMAT and MX optical engine.

Has anyone tried the new MX300,500,700 mice from logitech with the new ICEMAT mousepad? In the review they say the Dual optical from logi has precision problems with that pad, then again I read the Dual optical had problems with many other things aswell. So it might aswell be the dual optical that isn't compatible with the pad.??

We have tested on mousepad in a Warp2Search Review some weeks ago, you can read it over here: http://www.warp2search.net/reviews.php?o...tent&id=27

We can not recommend the ice mat pads for optical mices.

I am also using the mx700 mouse, i have a cheap 50 cent mouse pad and that works aboluty fine for me.

I am also see no sence in buying a special mousepad for mices.

Best
Niels

That's good to hear.. Finally someone who replies to this topic and has actually tested the 2 product in combination.

I was also thinking about buying the MX500.. and those buttons are they easy in-range for fast response? And what about drawing pixel by pixel for 2D graphic design? And most optical mice go Haywire with fast movements.. Can this mouse and pad combination handle them well?
