How to run 3dMark2001 on DirectX 9?

How to run 3dMark2001 on directX 9? I can't find the registry hack to do the job. Can anybody give me the registry hack or maybe a link to the page. Please help...

Run Regedit and go here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\DirectX

Change the "Version" key to read "4.08.01.0810"

It should then make every program think it's DirectX 8.1. Which allows 3dmark to run. Smile

havnet found a fix

so far that fix hasent helped graphics curruption in 3d mark 2001se, or CS (counter Strike) :evil:

A registry change like that wont help and corruption, thats the price you pay for using beta DX builds. Wink

You'll have to try different Nvidia dets or wait for a newer build of DX9.

Isn't DirectX 9.a better than DirectX 9????? So you just try that one Or else you will have to try a different nVidia dets.
