How do I unlock the clock panel for the latest dets?

I got win2000, just got a new Triplex geforce4 ti4200 128mb

Was wondering how to unlock the clock changing panel with the latest dets. running 29.80

Just wanna see if this thing can overclock a little.

If anyone knows a link to a reg file or whatever slap me with it =)

Head over to http://www.Guru3d.com and grab either RivaTuner or NVHardpage.

Riva will let you set the speeds in itself and NVHardpage will just enable the nvidia clock panel.

Don't make it more complicating as it is...

Just create the coolbits.reg and write

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak]
"CoolBits"=dword:00000003

into the file... run.. that's it...

Yes, but it would be easier to download, install, and use RivaTuner. and n00b ??

RivaTuner is more useful than that registry hack ... Whatever, does it really matter ?

Coolbits is OK to enable the clock panel, but NVHardpage gives you all the other panels as well, like Hardware Options and Display Orientation.
