hey,

how do u install the AMD K7 Processor Driver 5.1.2600.28 Windows XP??

when i downloaded it all i have is a *.sys file, a security catalog, and a *.ini file. do i just place them in the windows/system folder??

any help would be great

copy and paste them in a Dir you know were to look then go to Control panel, system, hardware,device manger,click on processors, click on AMD/Intel then Update Driver and go to the Dir were you placed the 3 files

then you sould have to reboot and then your done GL =)

Just go to http://www.windowsupdate.com and select it in the drivers section, then you have to worry about anymore

go to hardware devices, select processors, click update driver, click browse and tell xp where the new driver is.
