Yeah I've read that this morning, pretty freaky huh? Guess I ought to stop trying to hack into ID Software for Doom 3 source code. Oh wait.

LOL if they would be after Doom³ guys .... Ok they got something ... but HL2 souce this was just a bad joke ... come one vale or who so ever you got nothing and because someone stole this and showed to public .... OMG like a little child ...

i think he means, the leaked hl2 source was very incomplete and valve was lying to us on how near it's release was. whereas the doom3 alpha that was leaked was much more complete.

I seen the HL2 Footage / Played it, the game looked very complete. Minus missing levels, which in turn arent the largest part in completing a game. Im sure they are holding it back just because of the fact that if you leak a source code. There are now many many people whom are able to hack it, there for if your playing online using your knowledge of the code you can manipulate your game play experience drastically, not to mention the fact that you could hack other people while online, using ports etc.

Doom3 is also veeery close to completion, just Doom3 got pushed back and admittantly they needed a bit more time to fully complete the game.
