Help on ASUS Warranty in UK

Hey guys,

I bought my ASUS V8200 Deluxe Geforce 3 last year at the beginning of august.
To my horror the card suddenly stopped working and doesn't give out a display to the monitor or anything. I was going to return it to the reseller, as I thought it was under 1 year, but it wasn't.
The card has a 3 year warranty provided by asus. The only problem is I contacted asus and they said to take it to the reseller then they'll take it back to asus for me. But when I contacted the company I purchased it off they told me to get screwed cos they don't have anything to do with manufacturers warranties.

Does anyone know if there is a UK asus centre cos I can't find any info anywhere there isn't even a UK website for it or mention of the UK on the global site.

Help please I've been reduced to a s3 Savage 4 (tears)

oh well

You need to find an address of where there service center is and get an RMA form from ASUS. Possible you can do this online and make a printout, but just like us resellers, we have to send them abroad, and after 12 months its nothing to do with us as they uphold any warranty after the 12 months.

I've sorted it

I contacted PC Gamer to complain about ARIA, as due to a contract that they entered into with ASUS they were EXPECTED to help me with my problem. C'mon was it that much to ask just for them to send it back to they're distributor and then onto ASUS for me??? I think not!.

Well anyway PC Gamer put me in contact with the Head of UK marketing for ASUS products and she shorted it directly for me.

I had a brand new card with no quarms and she didn't even test my old one!!! lol

Well alls well that ends well.
