Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad
thank you all, I downloaded this Bios, but its not working for me!!!
I have an old PCI VGA adapter, I tried to boot first from PCI and let the AGP Card inside but my PC wouldn't boot to bios or DOS, I tried with another PC then I heard 1x long signal and some other short signals think 8 or 9 signals, the VGA RAM seems to be dead. I'll contact MSI for the Warranty!!!!!!!
Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad
Thank you...

LOL you should have heard ....
and even more if you got a MSI why don't you use MSI updater ???
it can't be more easy ... install tool ... let it search for ahrdware .. see whats new ... and do not install GPU BIOS
but this maybe the only chance ... if you can get your PC running even with blank screen you can program the BIOS of Grafics card .... download MSI BIOS .... see how the update mechanism works .... remember all steps and do it blind .... or use for eyample a tool like VNC to watch your PC from another PC in network .... use good GPU install the tool ... replace it with bad one ... and then do the operation per network ..

Try to use the PCI along the AGP but this time you might try to clear your CMOS first, by adjusting the jumper. This is to let the Motherboard forget the old setting (may be AGP is set to primary or what ever) and restore to the default. If you motherboard doesn't have the jumper, try to remove the battery and put it in again after 2-3 minutes. I think this may be the ultimate solution before you cantact MSI for warrenty. Good luck!

Mertsch is correct, you killed it. Try getting a RMA by saying it just quit working and you don't have a clue as to why. Play as dumb as possible and NEVER try what you did again. Welcome to the "experience" club...

It's only funny when somebody else does it needlessly. The last thing I roasty-toasted was an AMD 1.4 T-Bird just before I hit 1.9ghz with it. AMD didn't really believe that it "just quit working" and only sent me back a 1.13 CPU as a replacement along with a little note that said if it died, too bad. That was two years ago, maybe I'm not trying hard enough...

if you have both cards inside it a compatibility problem I think ....

can you pls telll again what cards you have ...w hich one is PCI which AGP which stopped working ..... and most important ... : is it possible to start the PC with the damaged card ... or does he give you a peep code and out ..... because that would mean the card is dead ..... when I flashed a GF2 with wrong BIOS there was simply no more signal from the card .... but PC run I was able to program new BIOS unfortunatly my card was that no name that no BIOS ran on it and there was not a single information about the manufacture

ok...

the dead card????? is MSI TI4200 T8X and the othe one is PCI ATI rage fury, as I told I can boot the PC with the ATI one PCI into Dos and the MSI still in the AGP-PORT, there is no problem till now I changed the first boot in bios to the PCI, the computer does't make any signal that means the AGP card is not dead, caused when any thing is wrong on the AGP card then my computer will not run, but the problem is hen I tried to programm the card the NVFLASH means ((no NVIDIA card was found)), is there any tool to use it instead of the NVFLASH to ignor thes problem, and programm the eeprom.

Mercy....
